DON DARRYL (US)

Born in Newark, New Jersey in 1966 Darryl D Johnson (Don Darryl) has worked in entertainment for over 35 years. He initially started djing at age 16 with his friends at house & high school parties they organized up until he went into the military at age 20. During his military time he continued organizing events as well as learning the business side of the industry. After taking a break from the entertainment business due to his military duties, Darryl was honorably discharged from the Army in 1993 and began working as a patient liaison coordinator for the Department of Defense in Germany and restarted his events and talent management business working with some of the most popular artist, celebrities, djs and more. In 2009 Darryl and his family moved to Istanbul and he hit the ground running in the entertainment sector where he has developed great relations with many of the biggest venues, restaurants, clubs and hotels. Darryl is a well established international entertainment consultant and some of his major clients are the Hyatt Hotel Group, Andaz Group (part of the Hyatt group), 360 entertainment group Istanbul, Kastel Club Istanbul, Supper Club, Savage Club, Oligark Istanbul, 1oak Dubai and many more. In 2022 Darryl started and successfully completed a dj course at one of the best dj academies in Europe the Istanbul DJ Academy owned by Serdar Ayyildiz. Darryl has always stayed abreast to the music seen especially in South African and in 2022 launched the House of Amapiano project together with Can Ayverdi (Formrer Kastel club GM) which has been a massive success leading to the launch of the House of Deep Sa. Darryl has had over 125 bookings since 1 October 2022 and is continuously being contacted for bookings. With his smooth captivating style he blesses the dance floor with the very best Afro house, deep SA, Chill Amapiano AfroTech Private School Piano and Classic house.

Darryl is also a song writer and produces track with his vast international network of producer & vocalist.
