Biography
ANZURA is an Istanbul-based DJ / selector known for her cinematic approach to storytelling through music. Her sets blend melodic house, indie dance, organic house, and nostalgic disco textures through a selection style shaped by emotion, atmosphere, and flow. Influenced by her background in cinema and directing, ANZURA approaches each performance as more than a sequence of transitions. Her sets unfold as dynamic narratives — gradually evolving in energy while building a distinct atmosphere from beginning to end. She has performed at renowned venues and hospitality destinations including Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, Rixos Hotels, The Westin Istanbul, Mondaine and Sakhalin Istanbul, while also appearing at selected brand events for Coca-Cola. Adaptable to different environments while maintaining the signature character of her sound, ANZURA creates immersive experiences that balance movement, tension and emotion. Alongside music, ANZURA incorporates cinematic visual storytelling into her performances, creating original set experiences where sound and imagery exist within the same atmospheric world.
